As I headed back to my car from this video, 2 more passed right over me. I heard the wings go over my head they were so close. It was an awesome experience, I can't describe the swoosh sound of all those feathers on that bird. Awesome!

Eagle goes fishing...did he catch a fish?

Watch for the Eagle soaring infrom the left and follow him. He will swoop down for a fish. I didn't see that he caught one. I really don't know for sure, but he did go fishing.

Quad City Eagles starting to return for the New Season

Since I live in the Quad City area, I wanted to share a photo from yesterday of an eagle with lunch in talons. This is about 10 minutes from where I live actually. I will be scouting around as time permits and share photos here of the Eagles in our area. I can't get enough of the Eagles in general.

Actually it was my birthday in 2004, and since all my family lives far away now, I was looking for a unique way to celebrate "MY day. I decided to drive to a few spots I knew along the Mississippi and see if I could spot an eagle or two. I did in fact spot 3 or 4 that day and was absolutely thrilled to actually stand under a tree..."Now that I know more about them, I might be a little more
